Affiliate marketing is a very effective way of getting the most of your work. If you do it right affiliate marketing can offer you a great stream of income, and this can keep on growing while you work less and less each month.
Doing it right means having a good plan to follow. It is said that "you have to know were your going so that you get there!" so the first step in creating your plan is asking yourself this question:
How much money do I need to feel pretty good about myself and to cover my day to day expenses?
This can be anywhere from 500$ to 5 000$ a month. It all depends on you and the kind of expenses that you have. It's ultimately your choice, but I suggest that, at least for now, you set kind of a minimal amount of cash for spending. For example if your monthly expanses are 2 000$ try to reduce them to 1 700$ or 1 500$! I know this seems kind of hard, but just do it thinking that you give 300$ or500$ (the amount that you will reduce) so that you can receive 3 000$ or 5 000$ later!
Keep to the essentials, like: food and drink, clothing and don't over do it here, transportation (try to reduce this as much as possible), home expenses, etc.
After setting up an amount, let's say 1 500$ a month this now becomes your number one goal! Congratulations!
By setting your most important goal you have made a huge progress in achieving success (more than 50%, actually)!
So that this is even more effective, it's a very wise thing to write the 1 500$ on a piece of paper with a deadline also.
I this case, if you set your goal in December and you want to achieve this 1 500$ from your affiliate marketing business by 20 of July the next year, you will write 1 500$ then 20 of July and the year. It's best to write this with a marker so that you see it clearly and you should also put this paper somewhere where you will see it all the time: on the fridge, next to your computer, on your bathroom mirror, on the wall, etc.
This step is extremely important!
It is so important to see and know the exact target you have, because we think in images. We can't think of something and not be able to have an image of it instantaneous.
And if you constantly give your mind images of all the things that you desire, your mind will try and eventually succeed in transforming the images into reality!
It's such a great and proven technique that gets results that I'm amazed that so many people aren't doing this!
