Some myths concerning affiliate marketing or affiliate marketing programs in general is, that they are going to become rich over night. This could not be farther from the truth. Sure there are those that sometimes seem to hit the home run right out the gate. However this is not the norm in this business. Stories concerning affiliates marketing programs and internet marketers who earn tremendous amounts of money swim in their heads, and while these stories are as true as they can be, there are those who believe that they are going to have the same fortune once they indulge in this particular business.
It is true enough that affiliate marketing is financially rewarding. People who have gone through everything to be able to succeed in this business are reaping the seeds that they untiringly sowed. The vast majority work long hours on getting their system working correctly and those who enter with the idea that some kind of magic is going to happen will be disappointed.
