What's one of the first things that you do when you begin school as a child? You are introduced to your teacher, right? Well, there's a reason for that. Your teacher made certain that you learned what you needed to know in order to advance to the next level or grade.
Learning in affiliate marketing really isn't any different than going to class for the first time. The main differences that I've learned is that so many people fail simply because they didn't get properly educated. There may be a lot of different reasons for that, but it all comes down to not having someone there to ask questions or point you in the right direction of what to do until you're able to stand on your own.
One of the primary reasons that people fail at affiliate marketing is because they simply don't know who's trustworthy when they're first starting out. Also, there are a lot of rippoff artists on the Internet that will rip you off in a heartbeat. Getting an education about internet marketing isn't as easy as going to your local community college and taking a few classes. You'll need to meet people that are really actually making money the "right" way and get to know them. You can do this by attending Internet marketing seminars. These are not cheap by any means and you may have to go to more than one of them before you actually start to build any relationships though.
The primary answer that you'll be able to find out by going to one of these events is who is "for real". By learning who's actually making money by doing what you want to learn you can then buy their books, courses, etc. and model what they do. You should ask them if they do one on one coaching. This probably will cost you a bit of money, but you'll come away from a one or two hour session knowing specifically what you'll need to do to make your affiliate business a success.
